Abovyan celebrated its 47 years anniversary with big schik

Honorary citizen of Abovyan Gagik Tsarukyan visited Abovyan to mark the 47th anniversary of the city. Abovyan citizens met the leader of PAP with great enthusiasm and traditional bread and salt. Series of events began with the opening of completely renovated Victory Park near the city hall. The opening red ribbon was cutted by the “Prosperous Armenia” party’s president Gagik Tsarukyan, Mayor of Abovyan Karapet Guloyan and ex-mayor Karo Israelyan.



 

MARCH 8 – HOLIDAY IN HONOR OF ARMENIAN WOMEN

March 8 is the international holiday of all the women. In Armenia it heralds the beginning of women honoring month. “Prosperous Armenia” Party and “Gagik Tsarukyan” fund continue giving pleasant surprises to all the women on the occasion of this holiday.

Thousands of flowers were given to Armenian girls and women on March 8. Meeting young people who were giving flowers and congratulations in “Kentron” county early in the morning girls and women were first surprised but then, smiling, they were taking the most pleasant present.

The initiative of “Prosperous Armenia” Party wasn’t limited only with capital city Yerevan. The honoring events for Abovyan city (Kotayk region) women were numerous. By the initiative of Abovyan honorable citizen, “Prosperous Armenia” Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan and Abovyan city mayor Karapet Guloyan all the women workers of structures which are under the subordination of town hall received flowers. The day before the holiday city mayor Karapet Guloyan met the principals of the schools wished them happiness and prosperity to their families.

Another vulnerable group was not out of initiators sight either. The women nurses of “Narek” nursing home of Abovyan city “Satenik” charitable organization were especially happy for the attention and care towards them.

In the evening the participants of this initiative already were distributing flowers to young people walking in Lovers park.
