NOCA PRESIDENT MET THE MEDALIST ATHLETES

In the super heavyweight category the strongest young man is Armenian. Armenian athlete Gor Minasyan at the past in Peru’s capital Lima, the Youth World Championship showed 379 kg result, leaving behind for 12 kg the second place winner, and was recognized undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.  The strongest young man in the world, a silver medalist in the 85 kg weight category Mikael Mikaelyian and bronze medalist in the weight category 62 kg Andranik Karapetyan was met by the NOCA president Gagik Tsarukyan. 

BOXING SPORTS SCHOOL IS NAMED AFTER VLADIMIR YENGIBARYAN

With the initiative of NOCA President Gagik Tsarukyan Yerevan Youth Boxing School on 10th of March was named after Olympic champion Vladimir Yengibaryan.

The solemn ceremony was attended by NOCA President Gagik Tsarukyan. Welcoming those present NOCA President again noted the great contribution of Vladimir Yengibaryan in the development of national sport.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH SHOOTING TOURNAMENT STARTED

In the shooting Junior School  started an annual tournament named by president of NOCA Gagik Tsarukyan, which involves all shooting sports schools. Welcoming those who present Gagik Tsarukyan noted that in the face of our Olympic, World and European champions in shooting this sport has good tradition in our country, then he wished success to all the participants.                                                                                                    

Gagik Tsarukyan visited Yerevan olympic sports college

On 5th of October on occasion of teachers’ professional holiday PAP president Gagik Tsarukyan visited Yerevan Olympic Sports College.

Teachers of the college met Mr. Tsarukyan with great enthusiasm, bread and salt.
NOCA President praised the work of college teaching staff and granted with NOCA Hrant Shahinyan medal the world champion in freestyle wrestling Aram Margaryan for a significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sports.

NOCA president Gagik Tsarukyan also took the floor. “The main thing you should know that you’re protected. There is an attention and there is appraisal. Once again congratulations on the Teachers Day “- said NOCA president. As an incentive PAP president has provided 3 million drams to teaching staff.

NOCA collegial meeting

On 9th September, it was invited the successive board meeting of NOCA.
Among discussed questions was also the organization and conduction of the ceremony on the 20th anniversary of NOKA establishment.

During the meeting the President of NOCA Gagik Tsarukyan was gifted souvenirs and certificates from the president of International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge for completed best work in the organizing Armenian Olympic delegation’s participation.
